Building on the recent success of the Virgin Media broadband service the company is now looking to bundle together broadband, telephone and TV services with significant discounts available and free installation. There have been signs of success in this particular field and even though a recent announcement from the company suggested that the rate of growth in broadband customers was slowing, there are still significant business opportunities out there.

Of the operators in the UK broadband market there is no doubt that the likes of Virgin Media broadband and Sky broadband have a distinct advantage over many other competitors due to the fact that they can offer quality TV services. The ability to bolt on TV and telephone services to a traditional broadband contract has proved very very lucrative and with Virgin Media broadband said to be trialling a 200Mb broadband service the company appears to be moving forward at full speed.

Slowly but surely we are seeing some of the smaller general UK broadband providers being squeezed out of the market although there would appear to be business a plenty for the smaller niche operators. There is no doubt that the UK broadband landscape will be changing significantly over the next few years as technology improves and the gap between the larger companies and the smaller players continues to widen.
