Talk Talk Broadband is part of the Carphone Warehouse empire which has taken the telecoms market by storm over the last 10 years. The Group literally appeared from nowhere to challenge the likes of BT and while there have been problems with access to networks along the way, these issues have been resolved and the company continues to power ahead.

Unlike many of their competitors, Talk Talk Broadband is actually a free broadband services which is connected to their array of existing phone talk plans. This has caused some controversy because some areas of the UK are not able to receive Talk Talk Broadband as yet (the figure is around 70% coverage at the moment, but set to grow over the coming years as BT unbundle their exchanges).
