Many people in the UK have been disappointed by the standard of mobile broadband services across the country were promises have been broken and some consumers appear to have left the sector forever. However, it is worth pointing out that the UK mobile broadband sector has seen significant developments over the last few months and enormous amounts of money have been and continue to be poured into this particular market. So would you go back to try mobile broadband again?

Those who have tried mobile broadband in the past may well need to revisit this growing market in the future. The services, the reliability and the broadband speed which we see today, while not perfect in any way, are significantly better than what we saw just 12 months ago. We are regularly seeing the likes of O2 mobile broadband, Orange mobile broadband and other mobile broadband providers announcing new initiatives and new speed trials.

However, one area of concern for consumers has been the reliability factor and the spread of mobile broadband connectivity across the UK. Great swathes of the UK are still “out of the mobile broadband loop” at the moment although the UK government and mobile broadband providers are determined to correct this issue.
