Vodafone has today made another entry into the competitive UK mobile broadband market with an offer of three months free mobile broadband for those signing up to 18 month contracts. While the length of the proposed mobile broadband contract will concern some users in the UK, there is no doubt that Vodafone is amongst one of the better mobile broadband services on offer at the moment.
At a time when mobile broadband is now becoming more and more popular and more and more reliable we are starting to see competition increase as operators look to expand their customer bases. It will be interesting to see how other mobile broadband operators in the UK react to the move by Vodafone and whether indeed we stand on the verge of a new era of competition which will benefit both business and consumer users.
Slowly but surely we are seeing the culmination of years of investment by mobile broadband providers in the UK coming to a head. More and more people are now demanding faster and faster mobile broadband speeds which is polarising the sector towards those offering cheap mobile broadband and those offering faster mobile broadband. The choice is yours!
