As we approach the festive period, when more and more people will be receiving laptops and personal computers with Internet connectivity built-in, the rush is on from UK broadband providers to catch your attention and also your business. So what exactly is on offer?
Slowly but surely we are seeing offers from the likes of Plusnet broadband, T-Mobile broadband, Vodafone broadband, Sky broadband, BT broadband to name but a few. The cost of broadband services in the UK has been relatively low for many years and appears set to remain so for the foreseeable future. However, a number of experts in the broadband business believe that due to the rollout of the national broadband network we will see broadband costs increase in the medium to longer term, which is pushing more and more people to sign up for contracts today.
Mobile broadband is set to become more and more popular as we approach the festive period and with more reliability and faster mobile broadband speeds now becoming available, it will be interesting to see the split between traditional broadband and mobile broadband users. The battle lines have been drawn and the battles are about to commence as we move towards the end of 2009.
