With the Internet becoming more and more a part of everyday life around the world, 8 out of 10 homebuyers in UK believe that estate agents should advise people of the broadband speeds available in homes for sale. While few estate agents have even considered such a move up until now, it seems that it could become an element of consideration in the future.

The only possible concern is the fact that different ISPs will obviously deliver different speeds so if a home is connected to for example Virgin broadband and you are contracted to a different ISP, then the information given by estate agents may be irrelevant. There is also the fact that broadband speeds around the UK are improving on a regular basis and the introduction of a nationwide broadband network will obviously have a major impact upon each and every area of the country at some point.

This is yet another reflection of how the Internet is becoming more deeply entrenched in everyday life for millions and millions of people in the UK. It is now possible to order any goods and any service you require via the Internet without actually leaving the comfort of your living room, with many websites and services available 24 hours a day seven days a week!
