While few estate agents have even considered such a move up until now, it seems that it could become an element of consideration in the future.
The only possible concern is the fact that different ISPs will obviously deliver different speeds so if a home is connected to for example Virgin broadband and you are contracted to a different ISP, then the information given by estate agents may be irrelevant. There is also the fact that broadband speeds around the UK are improving on a regular basis and the introduction of a nationwide broadband network will obviously have a major impact upon each and every area of the country at some point.
