Orange mobile broadband has received an award for the best and most reliable mobile broadband provider in the UK. The survey on behalf of YouGov also praised the company for its customer service and reliability with Orange broadband grabbing top spot in a total of nine different categories!

There is no doubt that Orange has invested substantial amounts of money into its Orange mobile broadband division and the forthcoming merger with T-mobile is set to further strengthen the company’s presence in the UK and many other European markets. The company claims that over 90% of the UK population have access to its mobile broadband 3G network which is the backbone of the company’s mobile broadband operation.

As we have mentioned on numerous occasions, many people believe that the traditional mobile market is saturated and awaiting the introduction of new technology while mobile broadband is still very much in its infancy. Over the next few years we will see many of the major Internet service providers and mobile phone companies announcing tie-ups as the race continues to grab as much of the mobile broadband market as possible.

Reliability of mobile broadband has been an issue for many people in the UK but significant investment by the likes of Orange, Vodafone, O2 and other well-known mobile broadband providers is starting to pay dividends.
