As the fight to grab the attention of UK broadband users continues we have seen mobile phone operator O2 roll out a new offer for UK consumers. Existing customers who have a pay monthly mobile, pay-as-you-go mobile or mobile broadband will receive a £50 mobile phone credit if they switch to the O2 Home Broadband Premium or Pro Package. There are similar deals for new customers who will receive a £50 mobile phone credit if they acquire an O2 mobile product within 30 days of signing up to the O2 Home Broadband Premium or Pro Package.
The services offer speeds of up to 20 Mb per second with unlimited data usage also coming as part of the package. It will be interesting to see how other mobile broadband operators react to this move in the marketplace at a time when competition is more intense than ever and companies are desperate to sign up new customers and convert existing customers to their broadband services. It has never been easier to transfer ISPs than today with the process taken on by mobile broadband providers and in some cases able to be completed within just a few days. Have you tried mobile broadband yet?
