There is no doubt that 2009 has been a very competitive year in the UK broadband sector and a year which has seen very attractive opportunities arise for UK broadband users. One trend which continues today is the bundling of broadband, TV and telephone services together under what for many people have been very cost-effective and relatively cheap subscription prices. So is it worth considering bundling your broadband, TV and telephone together?

When you consider that the vast majority of homes in the UK already have Sky TV, or some other form of satellite entertainment, there is the opportunity, especially from Sky Broadband, to acquire TV, broadband and telephone services under one agreement. Due to the fact that base costs are bundled together when acquiring more than one service through one company there is the ability to reduce the combined cost when compared against the cost of the individual services – even individual services with the provider who is bundling the services together!

Sky broadband, BT broadband and Virgin broadband have been amongst the most successful companies in the “bundling” market and they continue to dominate this particular area. The fact we should see developments in online TV, high-definition TV and broadband in 2010 has wet the lips of many UK consumers.
