A report released today about the UK broadband sector would seem to indicate that many broadband users are actually on the wrong broadband package with regards to download limits. Much has been made off unlimited download within various broadband packages but it would appear that 75% of users on such agreements only download 20 GB a month or less. So what can you do?

Various broadband providers such as BT broadband, Sky broadband, Virgin broadband and Orange broadband to name but a few will offer packages which will perfectly reflect your monthly download requirements. In some cases the annual saving could be as much as £100 by simply switching to a package which reflects your needs. This is a substantial saving by any standard and one which will be particularly welcome in the current economic environment.
