In yet another feather in the cap of UK mobile company 3 it was revealed that the company has been awarded the Mobile Choice Consumer Award for 2009 at a recent awards ceremony. The company has invested significant money and significant time into its mobile broadband operation which this has certainly come to fruition with more customers and more consumers now more aware than ever of the company’s range of services.
3 Mobile beat off competition from the likes of T-Mobile broadband and Vodafone broadband to claim this worthy prize which comes after the Tariff of the Year award in 2008. The very fact that many consumers are still sceptical of mobile broadband adds further weight to the award ahead of what will be a very active period for the UK mobile broadband sector.
Experts in the field of mobile broadband believe there are literally millions upon millions of people looking at mobile broadband for business and home use but as yet unconvinced that the reliability and speed factors are up to scratch. However, slowly but surely the tide of public opinion seems to be turning and more people are at least willing to give mobile broadband the benefit of the doubt with faster speeds now available and the reliability factor rising.
