Once you’ve chosen your package you need to get a code that your new Broadband supplier will use when adding you as a customer. This is called your Mac Code.

A Mac Code is a reference number used by Broadband Companies when you switch from one to another. For example, if you have a contract with BT and you want to move to Talk Talk, you would call BT and ask them for your Mac Code. They would give you a reference number which you would then give to Talk Talk. Mac Code stands for Migration Access Code and is a series of numbers and letters, typically 17 or 18 in total. Once your new Broadband Supplier has your Mac Code, they can take care of switching you over.

We’ve listed the main broadband providers below and the telephone numbers you’ll need to contact them with a Mac Code request.
