In a mobile broadband survey carried out across 16 major UK cities over the last three months it has been revealed that the service provided by T-Mobile was top for uploads, downloads, web browsing and e-mail services.
These independent tests show that T-Mobile continues to lead the way in the UK mobile broadband market offering more options, a better cost structure and ground breaking services. It was also announced that T-Mobile has seen a 35% rise in dongle and USB modem stick sales in the second and third quarters of 2008. As a consequence it appears that the company has a 22% share of the overall UK mobile broadband market which is set to grow substantially in the immediate future.
T-Mobile has always been at the forefront of the UK mobile broadband sector with a service which offers reachable speeds of 4.5 MB although some areas around the M25 will soon be able to connect at speeds up to 7.2 MB. While it would be wrong to say that the UK mobile broadband market coverage is complete there have been major improvements in national coverage which should continue into 2009 and beyond.
